What Are Bacon Misshapes? 

Bacon misshapes come from part rashers and trim taken off the ends of bacon loins, which is unsuitable for retail packets of sliced bacon. Misshapes are really cost effective and perfect to use as lardons or in recipes as it saves you dicing up nice whole rashers of bacon.

Cooking Instructions

How to Cook Bacon Misshapes

Bacon misshapes can be fried, grilled or added directly to cooked dishes. For frying, cut into smaller pieces if needed and cook in a frying pan over a medium heat, turning regularly until cooked through and nicely browned.

To grill, spread the pieces out in a single layer and cook under a preheated medium grill for around 5–10 minutes, turning occasionally.

They are also ideal for adding to pasta dishes, casseroles, pies and other recipes. Cook until piping hot throughout before serving.

Storage Instructions

Store at 0 - 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 3 days. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
