It's taken us months (years really, but that's another story) to finally get it over the line, and its been a big effort, but we are pleased to finally be announcing our partnership with DPD for all our online deliveries.
As of Monday 10th August 2020 all our online deliveries will be sent out with DPD. We've had a few issues over the last few months with APC, which we won't go into, and I know a few of our customers have felt let down with their service recently, which is unacceptable for both them and us. We appreciate every one of our customers and put a lot of effort and care into sending out each order. We want all our customers to have the best experience of our service, and recently that's not been the case, and through no fault of our own.
Having said that, I would like to add a big thank you to APC and specifically their Telford depot (G-Force), who have always been nothing but helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We opened a delivery account with them 5-6 years ago, when we couldn't get one anywhere else, and they've helped us build our online business since then. We will be forever grateful for all their help, but it's the right time for us to make a change.
Good news for 'difficult deliveries'
Our partnership with DPD also means that some areas of the UK, who previously had a delivery surcharge, now do not, which is great for both old and new customers alike. This means a saving of £5 per delivery, which you might even put towards buying even more delicious meat? Or treating yourself to a nice coffee? You decide.
