When cooked, beef heart has a mild flavour and blends seamlessly into dishes — there’s no strong offal taste or smell.

How to Cook 60/40 Premium Beef & Heart Mince

Heat a little oil in a pan, or wok until hot. Remove mince from packaging and add to pan. Brown the mince, stirring frequently, for 6-8 minutes. Lower heat to medium and continue until thoroughly cooked.

Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
