1.50KG (approx) individually packed gammon slipper joint, cut from the underside of the gammon. Often referred to as a slipper joint due to there resemblance in shape to the comfortable footwear you might use around the house. Ideal for roasting or boiling and using for sandwiches or serving hot with creamy mash potato.
How to Cook Gammon Slipper
Place joint in a roasting tin and oven roast at Fan 170°C/Gas 5/190°C in a pre-heated oven. Cook for approximately 30 mins per 500g plus 30 minutes. Score surface to give crackling. Allow meat to rest for 15 - 20 minutes before serving.
Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
