Quality British and Irish beef Braising Steak, cut from the chuck, skirt or flank for that delicious depth of flavour and generous marbling. Kept as whole pieces so you can braise each steak individually or cut into specific cube sizes yourself. Available in:

How to Cook Braising Steak
Remove steak from packaging and rest at room temperature for 5 minutes before cooking. Heat a frying pan or griddle pan until very hot, brush the meat with a little oil, and seal the meat on both sides for 2 - 3 minutes in total. Transfer to a casserole dish, add your choice of vegetables and stock/gravy, and braise in the oven at 180°C/ Fan 160°C/ Gas 4 for 2 hours 30 minutes, or until tender.

Storage
Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
