Product Description

2.27kg (5lb) catering pack of prime back bacon, supplied ready sliced and cut thicker than standard supermarket rashers.

This bacon is cured using an injected process, resulting in a mild, familiar bacon flavour and a higher moisture content that cooks well and crisps nicely. The thicker cut gives a more substantial bite, making it ideal for bacon sandwiches, breakfasts, and bulk catering use.

A practical bulk option for those cooking for groups or looking to portion and freeze at home. You’ll receive approximately 36 rashers, though this may vary slightly depending on cut thickness.

Smaller retail packs of back bacon are also available.

How to Cook Prime Back Bacon – Catering Pack

Grill on medium heat for 5 - 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Shallow fry in a frying pan of hot oil. Cook high for 1 minute each side, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for a further 2-3 minutes turning occasionally Check food is piping hot throughout before serving.

Storage
Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 3 days. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
