A pack of 2 pigs cheeks, cut from the cheeks (surprisingly?!) of local Staffordshire and Shropshire British pigs. Increasingly popular with chefs due to their rich flavours, and prized due to their limited quantity. Ideal for dinner parties or the adventurous.
How to Cook Pigs Cheeks
Remove all packaging. Season the meat with sea salt and pepper and oven cook at 150°C/Fan 130°C/Gas 2 in the centre of a preheated oven for approximately 3 hours. Allow meat to rest for 5 minutes. Check meat is piping hot throughout before serving.
Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
