Premium British French trimmed rib of beef, cut from the forerib and aged on the bone for that deliciously deep flavour. Our butchers remove the chine bone, any excess fat and French trim the ribs for an absolute show stopper of a roasting joint. Often considered one of the tastiest and most sophisticated flavoured joints, which makes it perfect for that special roast. Choose from:
- 2 bone (around 3KG's), or
- 4 bone (around 6KG's).
How to Cook Rib of Beef
Remove beef from packaging and rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before roasting. Heat a frying pan or griddle pan until very hot, brush the meat with a little oil, and sear the meat on all sides for 3 - 4 minutes in total. Leave uncovered in a roasting tin, season and roast in centre of preheated oven at 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4.

Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
