Product Description

500g of unsmoked middle bacon, sourced from the best Danish bacon producers and sliced in house by our experienced True Bites butchers. Our middle bacon is lean and has the rind left on, the old fashioned way. It combines the loin and the belly (i.e back bacon and streaky bacon) in one rasher. An old fashioned variety of bacon, which is still popular with the more traditional amongst our customers.

Cooking & Recipes

How to Cook Middle Bacon

Grill on medium heat for 5 - 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Shallow fry in a frying pan of hot oil. Cook high for 1 minute each side, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for a further 2-3 minutes turning occasionally Check food is piping hot throughout before serving.

Storage
Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 3 days. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
